AtulyamOne Tally Sync Agent - macOS
===================================

No Node.js or other software needs to be installed. The agent connects to
Tally's XML/ODBC port, so Tally (usually on a Windows machine or VM) must be
reachable from this Mac over the network.

Pick the right download: Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4) = darwin-arm64,
Intel Mac = darwin-x64. (Apple menu > About This Mac shows the chip.)

1. In Tally: Gateway of Tally > F1 (Help) > Settings > Connectivity.
Enable the ODBC/XML port (default 9000) and keep Tally open.
2. In AtulyamOne: Settings > Tally Integration. Enable Tally Sync, enter the
Tally company name exactly as shown in Tally, and generate a pairing token.
3. In Terminal, extract the archive:
     mkdir -p ~/TallySyncAgent
     tar -xzf ~/Downloads/tally-sync-agent-*-darwin-*.tar.gz -C ~/TallySyncAgent
     cd ~/TallySyncAgent
4. The file is not notarised by Apple, so clear the download quarantine flag:
     xattr -c tally-sync-agent
5. Create the config:
     cp config.example.json config.json
     open -e config.json
Set platformBaseUrl, agentToken (from step 2) and tallyUrl
   (e.g. http://192.168.1.20:9000 for the Tally machine's address).
6. Run it:
     ./tally-sync-agent
Logs are written to ~/TallySyncAgent/logs/. Press Ctrl+C to stop.
